Having said that though, I liked it--up until the ending.  I still think it was bizarre and freaky in a unique kind of way.  I&amp;#39;m not a big reader of King&amp;#39;s work though, nor other books like this, so I can&amp;#39;t really speak to what he did or didn&amp;#39;t do.
